PROMINENT DISCLOSURE: Background Location Data Collection
Proton Patrol collects location data—including precise GPS location in the background—even when the app is closed or not in active use.
This background location tracking is a core operational requirement of the Guard Tour System to:
Ensure real-time guard tracking and duty verification during patrol shifts.
Verify arrival at designated checkpoints, geotagged patrol routes, and client sites.
Enable Lone Worker Protection and immediate emergency SOS / panic dispatch for guard safety.
Location collection operates solely during active work shifts or when logged into the Guard Patrol status. Location data is never sold, shared with third-party advertisers, or used for commercial marketing.
